According to the new technology, now cameras can precieve and detect those colors that human naked eye and ordinary cameras are unable to detect.

(This research has done in a Tel Aviv university.)

The technology will help us to see gases in our atmosphere by capturing their images. We can easily differentiate between Carbon, hydrogen and sodium like gases which has unique and different color on spectrum.

It will also enable us to detect compounds of biology that cannot be seen by humans naked eye.

Applications :

It has applications in the field of

  •  computer gaming
  •  photography,
  •  medicine
  •  astronomy
  •  and security.

Human eye can precieve colors between 400 and 700 nm wavelengths of light. Below 400nm there is ultra violet rays and above 700nm there are infrared radiations.. In each of these parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, there is a great deal of information of materials( colors) that has until now been hidden from human naked eye.

By this technology there are chances that cancer cells may easily detected because of higher molecules of same type.

Now the technology available is expensive for detection invisible rays. But soon this new camera technology will be available in ordinary cameras that will be cheaper than existing technology.

We humans can see between red and blue rays. If we could see in the infrared, we would see that elements like hydrogen, carbon and sodium that have a unique color,” explains Prof. Suchowski. “So an satellite that checks the environment will be able to ‘see’ a pollutant being emitted from a plant, or a spy satellite would see where explosives or uranium are being hidden in all over the world. In addition, since every object emits heat in the infrared, all this information could be seen even at night. This is incredible by the way.
